AAIR
Domain 1: AI Risk Governance and Framework Integration: Aligning AI initiatives with organizational strategy and building trust and accountability into how AI risk is governed.
Domain 2: AI Lifecycle Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating risk throughout the full lifecycle of an AI system, including data integrity and operational resilience.
Domain 3: AI Risk Program Management: Designing and managing a comprehensive, enterprise-wide AI risk program that drives resilience and readiness.
This course prepares students to sit for the ISACA Advanced in AI Risk (AAIR) certification exam, ISACA's advanced credential for experienced risk professionals ready to lead AI risk management. Enrollment includes instruction, guided study, and exam preparation aligned to ISACA's official AAIR exam domains, with earning the ISACA certification as the intended outcome of the course, not simply a CyberDI certificate of completion.
Class content covers how to fold AI risk governance into frameworks an organization already uses and build trust and accountability into how that risk is overseen. Students work through how risk shifts across an AI system's lifecycle as it is trained, deployed, and updated, including data integrity and operational resilience, and how to design and manage a comprehensive AI risk program that holds up across the enterprise rather than in isolated pockets.
Upon passing the ISACA AAIR exam, students earn a certification that positions them among the first professionals to formally validate AI risk management expertise. Certified professionals are able to evaluate AI-enabled systems for vulnerabilities across the enterprise, assess opportunities and impacts, prioritize practical risk responses across the AI lifecycle, and integrate AI risk controls and monitoring into existing risk, security, and operational workflows.
