BRIAN MATTINGLY

Brian has worked in IT for over 25 years — as a sysadmin, network engineer, technical instructor at the university and community college level, and CMMC Certified Assessor. He's sat on both sides of the table in CMMC assessments, helping organizations prepare for certification and conducting official certification assessments for others. As an instructor, Brian focuses on breaking down complex topics into manageable concepts, keeping energy high, and sharing his passion for technology and cybersecurity. He's a Lead Certified CMMC Assessor, a CISSP, and holds a Master's Degree in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance from Western Governors University. Brian lives in the Pacific Northwest with his family and enjoys outdoor recreation and gardening.
