AAISM
Domain 1: AI Governance and Program Management: Building the governance structures and policy needed to manage AI adoption responsibly across the organization.
Domain 2: AI Risk Management: Identifying and addressing the specific risks AI introduces into enterprise security operations.
Domain 3: AI Technologies and Controls: Implementing the technical controls and tools needed to secure AI systems and integrate AI safely into existing security operations.
This course prepares students to sit for the ISACA Advanced in AI Security Management (AAISM) certification exam, the first AI-centric security management credential ISACA offers, built for security professionals who already hold a CISM or CISSP and want to drive secure AI adoption. Enrollment includes instruction, guided study, and exam preparation aligned to ISACA's official AAISM exam domains, with earning the ISACA certification as the intended outcome of the course, not simply a CyberDI certificate of completion.
Class content covers how to build the governance structures and policy needed to manage AI adoption responsibly across an organization, how to identify and address the specific risks AI introduces into security operations, and how to implement the technical controls and tools needed to secure AI systems and integrate AI safely into existing security workflows without losing visibility or control.
Upon passing the ISACA AAISM exam, students earn a certification recognized as the first specialized AI security management credential on the market. Certified professionals are able to evaluate and secure AI-enabled systems across the enterprise, integrate AI into existing security operations, identify and respond to risks tied to AI technologies, and reinforce governance, compliance, and responsible innovation as AI adoption accelerates.

Office hours remain a cornerstone of the experience, giving students the chance to work through emerging AI security scenarios with an instructor directly.

A connected pathway across AI Audit, AI Risk, and AI Security Management, delivered under CyberDI's ISACA training partnership, building on the same cybersecurity foundations that already secure the defense industrial base.
CyberDI's AI Maturity Model Certification Program brings together three advanced ISACA credentials, each extending a proven cybersecurity discipline into the age of artificial intelligence. AI Audit (AAIA) builds on the foundation of the Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), extending independent verification into AI systems. AI Security Management (AAISM) builds on the Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), extending defense against evolving threats to include AI-specific risk. AI Risk Management (AAIR) ties the two together, identifying and prioritizing exposure across the AI lifecycle so audit and security functions are working from the same risk picture.
This isn't a break from CyberDI's cybersecurity roots — it's the same discipline applied to a new attack surface. CISA and CISM are already recognized under DoD 8140 as approved credentials for the roles that implement, manage, and assess CMMC programs. As AI systems increasingly touch CUI, FCI, and the broader defense supply chain, AAIA, AAIR, and AAISM extend that same DoD-aligned rigor into AI assurance — giving the workforce that already secures cyber systems a clear, evidence-based path to securing AI systems too.
